RET-430A relay compares maximum or minimum value of measured voltage RMS with the threshold value set by the user. The device operates in one of two principles: overvoltage or undervoltage. In the overvoltage mode, the pick-up of relay occurs when any of three measured voltage values exceeds the set value. After the set time-delay, the device generates a trip signal. In the undervoltage mode, the pick-up will occur when any of the three measured values drops below the set value. After the set time-delay, the device generates a trip signal.
Pick-ups and trips are signalled. The trip signal is blocked when binary input for blocking purposes (Ubl) is energised by an external signal
